Q. What are your opening hours?
A. The shop opens:- Monday - Friday 9.30am-5.30pm. Outside these hours you can send your files or email your enquiry to us at : copyandprint@hotmail.com.
Q. What types of binding styles do you offer?
A. We offer the following binding types:-
- comb binding (also known as spiral binding)
- wire-o binding
- velo (also known as sure) binding
- metal soft back binding
- metal hard back binding
- thesis binding
- calendar binding
Q. How long does it take to print and bind a university dissertation?
A. A 50 page dissertation typically is printed & bound in under 15 mins.
Q. What margins should I use for my dissertation?
A. For academic work not less than 15mm on the top, bottom and right margins and 40mm at the binding edge.
Q. How long does it take to print leaflets?
A. Normally we aim to turnaround colour printing within 1-2 working days.
Q. What kind of computers do you have in store?
A. PCs only.
Q. What type of document files do you accept?
A. Adobe *.pdf files are the preferred file format for printing. But we also can print Microsoft *.doc, *.docx, *.xls, and *.ppt. We can also print most image files = *.bmp, *.ttf, * jpg etc.
Q. What is a pdf?
A. A pdf = Portable Document Format. This type of file can be accessed by anyone (with Adobe Reader) on any platform (i.e. PC or MAC). If you don't have Adobe Acrobat on your PC you can simply send your file to www.createpdf.com and your file can be converted to a print ready pdf for FREE.
Q. What weight of paper do you print on?
A. Business reports & academic dissertations we print on 90gsm paper. Posters, leaflets, postcards etc. can be printed on various papers ranging from 100-300gsm.
Q. What are the international paper sizes?
- A6 = 105 x 148mm
- A5 = 148 x 210mm
- A4 = 210 x 297mm
- A3 = 297 x 420mm
- A2 = 420 x 594mm
- A1 = 594 x 840mm
